Effective June 6, 2026
TenantTape ("TenantTape," "we," "us") is a maintenance-triage tool for small landlords. Landlords use our iOS app; tenants submit maintenance reports through a private web link without creating an account. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
Landlord account. When you sign in with Apple, we receive a unique Apple user identifier and, on first sign-in only, your name and email address. We do not receive your Apple password.
Property data. Properties, units, and tenant contact details you choose to enter.
Tenant submissions. When a tenant submits a report, we collect the video they record, the category and triage answers they select, and the text description they write. Tenants do not create accounts.
Device tokens. If you enable notifications, we store an Apple Push Notification token so we can alert you to new reports.
Payment information. Pro subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; we retain only a Stripe customer identifier and your subscription status.
We use this information to operate the service: to authenticate you, store and display maintenance reports, send you push notifications, enforce plan limits, and process subscription payments. We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising.
We rely on a small number of processors to run TenantTape: Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage), Stripe (payments), and Apple (Sign in with Apple and Push Notifications). These providers process data only to perform services for us.
Report videos are stored in a private storage bucket and are accessible only through short-lived, signed links generated for the property's landlord. On the Free plan, report videos are retained for 30 days and then automatically deleted; the report's text details are kept. Pro plans retain full report history.
We do not sell personal information. We share data only with the processors listed above, or when required by law. Maintenance reports submitted for a property are visible only to the landlord who owns that property.
Access to landlord data is enforced at the database level so that each landlord can access only their own properties, units, and reports. Tenant report links are unique, unguessable tokens. Session tokens on your device are stored in the iOS Keychain. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
You can delete properties, units, and reports from within the app at any time. To delete your account and associated data, or to request a copy of your data, contact us at the address below and we will respond within a reasonable time.
TenantTape is intended for adults managing rental property and is not directed to children under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
